Cancellation Policy
TownPlotter services are agreed manually and do not currently include a self-service account deletion or subscription-cancellation button.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. How to request cancellation
An authorised customer representative must send a cancellation request to townplotters@gmail.com or contact +91 98872 21144. Include the customer name, project name, registered account email or phone number, invoice or quotation reference and the requested outcome.
TownPlotter currently has no self-service account cancellation or deletion workflow. A request is therefore reviewed and executed manually after we verify the requester's identity and authority. Sending a request does not itself delete project data or immediately disable a live showroom.
2. Cancellation before acceptance and handover
If the customer cancels after work has commenced but before accepting the product, MoveTez will stop further work after confirming the request and any immediate security or operational steps. The 25% advance/token amount remains non-refundable, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any treatment of an amount paid beyond the 25% token is governed by the accepted service agreement and Refund Policy. No additional cancellation fee or notice period is stated here because none has been approved.
3. Cancellation after acceptance and handover
After acceptance, full payment and handover of the builder control panel, a request to stop hosting, support or account access is treated as a service termination request. It does not reverse the completed project work or transfer ownership of the TownPlotter platform or source code.
Unused prepaid hosting or support is not refunded in cash. Access, hosting and applicable support continue until the end of the current paid service term. A customer may request an earlier effective cancellation and takedown, but that choice does not create a cash refund for the unused period.
4. Public showroom and account access
MoveTez's written confirmation will state the effective cancellation date. For a normal cancellation, that date is the end of the current paid service term unless the customer requests an earlier effective date. MoveTez will take the public showroom offline within 24–48 hours after cancellation becomes effective. If cancellation results from MoveTez's fault or inability to deliver, cancellation and takedown will be immediate. MoveTez may also disable the relevant builder access, partner links and protected inventory sessions as required to carry out the confirmed cancellation.
MoveTez may suspend access sooner where necessary to contain compromised credentials, unlawful content, non-payment of an undisputed due amount or a material security risk, subject to applicable law and the service agreement.
5. Project data after cancellation
Cancellation and data erasure are separate actions. We may retain data needed for invoices, taxes, audit, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security or another legal obligation. A customer may make a separate verified request to export or erase eligible project or personal data.
The customer has 24 hours from the effective cancellation date stated in MoveTez's written confirmation to export or request its project data. After that 24-hour window, no further refund claim based on project-data access will be honoured. This data-export requirement is separate from the 15-day scope-mismatch refund-eligibility period: it does not reduce or replace that 15-day period.
Customer project data will be permanently deleted 30 days after the 24-hour export window closes, except for limited records MoveTez must retain for invoices, taxes, audit, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal holds or another applicable legal obligation.
Where data is erased, backups and provider-managed replicas may remain for a limited period according to infrastructure lifecycle processes and legal obligations. We will not promise immediate irretrievable deletion where the present system does not technically provide it.
6. MoveTez-initiated cancellation
If MoveTez cancels the engagement or cannot deliver the agreed product, MoveTez will provide a 100% refund of all amounts received, including the 25% token, regardless of the 15-day refund window. An approved refund will be processed and paid within 7–10 business days after approval. The public showroom will be taken offline immediately in this situation.
7. Standard service term and renewal
The standard hosting and service term for a published project is 18 months, irrespective of the project's sales timeline. Renewal is not automatic. Before the term ends, MoveTez and the customer may agree a new term and fee through a manual renewal conversation, quotation and invoice. If no renewal is agreed, the service ends at the close of the paid term.
8. Confirmation
A cancellation is effective only when MoveTez confirms it in writing and states the effective date and what will happen to access, the public project, outstanding work and data. Keep that confirmation with the project's quotation and invoices.
9. Governing law and exclusive Jaipur jurisdiction
This policy is governed by Indian law. Subject only to a mandatory consumer forum, statutory authority or other jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, every dispute or legal proceeding concerning cancellation, termination or a TownPlotter engagement shall be instituted and conducted exclusively before the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
